Terms of service
Last updated 10 August 2026
These terms cover your use of SetterMirror AI(“the service”). By creating an account you agree to them.
What the service does
The service connects to an Instagram professional account you control and replies to direct messages on your behalf, using business information and writing examples you provide. You choose how much it does on its own: replies can wait for your approval, or send automatically, and you can take over any conversation at any time.
Your responsibilities
- You must own, or be authorised to manage, the Instagram account you connect.
- You are responsible for what the service says on your behalf. Messages sent from your account are your messages. Review them, particularly while the service is learning your business.
- The information you give it must be accurate. It answers from what you provide, so incorrect pricing or claims will be repeated.
- You must comply with Meta’s platform terms and Instagram’s community guidelines, and with the law that applies to your business, including consumer protection and data protection.
- You must not use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages, to mislead people about who they are dealing with, or to make claims you cannot support.
Automated replies and honesty
The service writes in your voice, but it is not permitted to claim to be a human being. If someone asks directly whether they are talking to a person, it answers honestly. You must not configure or instruct it to do otherwise.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee any particular number of replies, qualified leads, bookings or sales, and nothing in the product or our marketing should be read as such a guarantee. Replies are generated automatically and can be wrong; that is why approval mode exists and why you can take over a conversation.
We depend on Meta’s platform. If Meta changes, restricts or withdraws access to its messaging APIs, parts of the service may stop working through no fault of ours.
Data
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy. In respect of the people who message your business, you are the data controller and we act as your processor. You can delete stored conversation data at any time — see deleting your data.
Fees and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time and will keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods unless the law requires it.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms, to breach Meta’s platform policies, or in a way that puts our access to those platforms at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost opportunities.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
